2010 Registration - Existing Members

Welcome to another year of hockey!  At this stage we would like to invite existing club members to register for the 2010 season.  Over the next couple of days you should receive an information pack by post which includes a registration form.  We are asking for these to be returned to us by 12th March 2010 so that we can confirm your place in one of our teams.

If your address has changed or you do not receive this pack by Monday (8th March) please contact us on grammarwindsorjuniors@gmail.com and we will arrange to email this information through to you.

2010 Registration - New Members

Registration for new members to the club will be opened up in Mid March. Information on registration will be provided when available.

2010 Junior and Youth Information

Information about the 2010 season for junior and youth members is provided below:

1. Mini’s, 6th Grade and 8th Grade: 5-6pm
2. 11th Grade and Youth: 6-7pm

Note: Registration for teams will occur before the muster so please review the information about registration on this page.

We will again be asking for your assistance this season as we require many volunteers to help make the season a successful one. Please consider how you, or others you know, may be able to help.

Players will be supplied with a uniform at the start of the season. Each player is expected to provide their own hockey stick, shin guards, mouth guard and a pair of white socks. 

Subscriptions

Subscriptions are to be paid in full at the time of registration.  Subscriptions can be paid by cash, cheque or internet transfer. 

Subscriptions for 2010 are as follows:

1. Youth (Boys and Girls) - $250
2. 11th Grade (Years 7 & 8) - $200
3. 8th Grade (Years 5 & 6) - $200
4. 6th Grade (Years 3 & 4) - $200
5. Mini's (Years 1 & 2) - $150

Junior & Youth Training

As part of joining a junior and youth team at Grammar Windsor, you are given the opportunity to be a member of team playing a fun and enjoyable sport. Each team, during the season, has both weekly training as well as plays weekly in the Auckland Hockey competition. Training is held at the Auckland Grammar School hockey turf at Normanby Road, Mt Eden. Games are at various venues on hockey turfs in the Auckland area.

Junior club training during 2009 was held on a Tuesday nights. It is planned that this will also continue in 2010 but this will be re-confirmed in early 2010.  Each team will be allocated a time slot between 4:30pm – 6:30pm which will be communicated to you once teams are confirmed. Competition games begin on the 1st May 2010 and the final game of the season is scheduled for the 11th September 2010.

Youth club training is Monday nights 7:30pm – 8:30pm at the Auckland Grammar School turf, commencing on 21st April 2010. Competition games begin on the 30th April or 2nd May 2010 and the final game of the season is scheduled for the 15th or 25th August 2010 (depending on the number of club teams that register).
