GWHC currently competes across various divisions in the Auckland Hockey Association (AHA) winter competition. We field both men's and women's teams, catering to a wide range of skill levels and experience.

Teams practice once a week, with games played on Saturday or Sunday at 7 venues across Auckland.

In 2024, GWHC entered teams in the ladies division 1 and division 2 grades and the men’s division 3 and division 4 grades.

2025 we anticipate having teams in the Ladies D1 & D2 grades and the Mens D3 & D4 grades. We are keen to grow our club and should we have enough interest would consider entering a Prem Reserve ladies team and a D2 mens team*.

Turf availability continues to be a challenge for us but we try to keep consistent bookings where we can.  Note: Dio currently does not allow access to their turf during the school holidays.
